My love for textiles began at a young age, influenced by my grandmother, a tailor by trade, and my mother, who believed deeply in the importance of having a creative outlet. She encouraged us to learn the foundational skills of sewing and garment construction. This blend of design and technical understanding nurtured my creative and curious mind. Once I mastered the basics of sewing machine operation and garment and quilt construction, my imagination blossomed.
